A journey to the cosmos

More work? Alright.

Such a busy weekend, but I must must update before work! And let me preface this by saying this was one of the hardest features to write for me, not because im pressed for time, but because this is one of the few artists that I find very little comparison to form other music I've heard. And thats a good thing.

So lets talk about an artist I've been a fan of for a few months now (in both his writing and music), Mr. Pulsar. Unfortunately his site is still under construction, but his music is indeed complete, and executed magnificiently. Recently released (via free rar download)"A Journey to the Cosmos" sounds like an electric journey through space. What the album lacks in vocalization, it makes up for in depth. The music feels like its pulling you into space, with quick space-age tones. If I had to compare the sound to anything I've heard before, then I would have to compare it to one of the all time greats, Daft Punk.

"Neutron Stars", a track from the release, sounds like two different tracks, but as a whole convey the feeling of going into space, discovering something, and then jumping into lightspeed. Truly a long time must've gone into the composition of "A Journey to the Cosmos" and I hope that when you spend some time with it, you can listen to it and just think "wow, it really is as the name says it is." I know I did.
